DeWitt annually hosts their De Witt Ox Roast in August in the central business district, along the tree-lined streets. The DeWitt Ox Roast is the longest continually held event of its kind in the State of Michigan. Weekend activities include free daily entertainment, bingo, arts and crafts, their famous ox burgers, carnival and parade.
